---------------------------------------------
The first cougar attacks of the year have taken the life of Nanaimo BC resident named Patrick Michael Sullivan, as he was walking off his Mt. Benson Street property.

16 cougars from the nearby Bowen Park attacked Sullivan and dragged him into the bushes where he was devoured by the hungry cats.

Wildlife officials say this is not uncommon in Nanaimo during the month of January. "This happens every year in Nanaimo. Those God damned cougars come down from the hills and eat everything in sight. Nothing is safe. Not even the police."

Wildlife officers have stepped up patrols in the Mt. Benson St. area to ward off further attacks.

Last year, 450 people in Nanaimo were killed by gangs of roving cougars who attacked and ate everything from house cats to parrots.

In 2007, lion tamers from west Africa were flown to Nanaimo to help deal with the wild cats. 14 of those lion tamers suffered serious injuries and 9 were killed trying to round up the dangers beasts.

Tom Collins of the BC Ministry of Wildlife said the year 2008 is expected to be the worst yet for cougar attacks in Nanaimo. Collins stated the snowpack in the mountains surrounding Nanaimo is especially high this year, forcing the cougars to seek food at lower elevations. Collins said, "The snow's too deep up there for the cougars to dig for rabbits, hence Sullivan..."

Funeral arrangements for Patrick Michael Sullivan are being made and will be held Sam's Funeral Home on Newcastle Street in Nanaimo.

Donations to the World Wildlife Federation are requested in lieu of flowers.

Nanaimo Astronaut Patrick Michael Sullivan Pioneering Space Trials of Venus Rover

Working from his Mt. Benson Street home in Nanaimo, astronaut Patrick Michael Sullivan is pioneering space trials of a new vehicle that will land on Venus and collect data for NASA.

Sullivan said this is similar to the Mars lander, that was part of the NASA Mars Surveyor '98 program, which consisted of two spacecraft launched separately, the Mars Climate Orbiter (formerly the Mars Surveyor '98 Orbiter) and the Mars Polar Lander (formerly the Mars Surveyor '98 Lander). Mars Polar Lander also conveyed the Deep Space 2 surface-penetrator mission to Mars. The two missions were designed to study the Martian weather, climate, water and carbon dioxide levels, in order to understand the reservoirs, behavior, and atmospheric role of volatiles and to search for evidence of long-term and episodic climate changes. Communication with the lander was lost prior to atmospheric entry.

The Wankel Rotary Engine Redesigned by Nanaimo's Own Patrick Michael Sullivan

New and innovative techniques are taking place in the Mt. Benson St. workshop of Nanaimo resident Patrick Michael Sullivan. And the Wankel engine is getting a makeover. Now more reliable and fuel efficient than ever, Patrick Michael Sullivan says, "These modifications to the Wankel motor will increase the reliability of this engine for many years to come."

Subprime Crisis Sparks Outrage For Nanaimo Trading Guru Patrick Michael Sullivan

Nanaimo trader, Patrick Michael Sullivan, recently became enraged after being caught up in the sub-prime market meltdown.

A frequent commentator on CNDC's Market Revue, Patrick Michael Sullivan stated he was alarmed at the state of the USA economy.

Sullivan stated he blames Jim Kramer for fanning the flames and getting people frightened into selling off all their investments, including their pickup trucks and snow mobiles.

Patrick Michael Sullivan still believes that this market will rally through the year 2040, with new highs in both the DOW and NYSE.

Patrick Michael Sullivan stated, "The ultimate direction for the markets is up! And that's the way we should be thinking. Never mind the nay sayers. Just buy!"

Syrian Government to Deport Patrick Michael Sullivan Back to Nanaimo, Canada

Fed up with the jailhouse shenanigans of Canadian Government agent Patrick Michael Sullivan, the Syrian Government has decided to deport Government spy Sullivan back to Nanaimo to face trial for numerous offences including spying on foreign countries and loitering.

Tortured for 16 months in a Syrian prison, Patrick Michael Sullivan refused to hand over the details of secret trade talks related to the now defunct agreement in principle, to the now defunct agreement in principle related to the Syrian charter treaty.

In late January 2008, Sullivan's Canadian lawyer, Edward Howard Braskle, stated, "Sullivan's has had enough of Syria. The food's awful. And there is no TV to watch. Not to mention, you can't get loaded in the Middle Eastern countries, not without getting arrested, of course..."

Patrick Michael Sullivan is expected to be deported back to Canada in early February 2008, where he will be turned over to Canadian Government agents and held indefinitely under new Canadian laws passed since the 9/11 attacks.
